Hello, I am Kevin Thoms, the proud founder and operator of K.W.T Machining since 2008.
My journey in precision machining began with a Mechanical Technician Diploma from Georgian College in 2004, and in 2007, I became a Licensed Tool and Die Maker.
I then honed my skills under the guidance of some of the industry’s brightest minds. From the insightful teachings at J.P. Bowmans, Dielast Tool and Die, Brallon Manufacturing, to the invaluable experiences gained at McGarr Industries, each chapter has contributed to shaping K.W.T Machining into what it is today.
My skill set encompasses a diverse range of projects, from the creation of simple jigs and fixtures to the engineering of complete 50-ton hydraulic presses. I’ve successfully crafted components as small as those found in Blackberry devices to managing the machining of substantial 30-foot long forgings for the nuclear industry.
